Blackfriars Studium keeps the same eight week terms as the University of Oxford.

The academic year opens with an Induction programme for all our new students. This takes place the week before Full Term begins in early October. In every other term, students are required to contact their tutors by the Monday of the week preceding Full Term (0th Week). Oral examinations for lecture courses take place from Monday to Wednesday of 9th Week (the week following the end of Full Term).
