Oxford University Degrees - Introduction
Most undergraduates at Blackfriars Hall study for the BA in Theology or Philosophy and Theology, but some read Politics, Philosophy and Economics. For most it is their second BA. Postgraduate students are accepted for the M.St, M.Phil, D.Phil in philosophy and theology, for the Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and for the PGCE in Religious Studies.

Oxford is a collegiate university, in which public examinations are conducted and degrees are awarded by the University, but where at undergraduate level much of the teaching is provided by the colleges and halls in conjunction with the faculties or departments for each subject.
