Welcome to the Alumni/ae section of the Blackfriars website! As an alumnus/a of Blackfriars Hall or Studium, you are automatically a member of the Blackfriars Alumni Association (BAA). As a member of the Association you can keep in touch with your fellow alumni/ae and with everyone at Blackfriars. You are able to enter and update your own contact details through this website. Information held on our database is held under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. Please help us to maintain as close a contact as possible with all old members of the Hall and Studium and to trace those alumni with whom we may have lost touch over the years. You can do this either by phone (01865 610202) or by email to the Secretary of the BAA, Celia Penfold (2000-4). Celia has also been the Development Officer at Blackfriars since October 2004, and is working on plans for future fundraising for the Hall and Studium.

These are early days in the development of the Association, founded only in June 2005. We were delighted by the enthusiasm shown by former students at our founding event, and thank everyone for their messages of support. The continuing interest and enthusiasm of all alumni are vital to our success. Let us know the ways in which you see your Association moving forward, any ideas for reunions or events, and how you could yourself contribute to the BAA’s development!
